Level Your RV Fast and Easy

Leveling your RV doesn’t have to take a long time or be complicated. The first step is finding a method that is simple for you to use to know when your RV is level.  It can be as simple as a bubble level

I like the LevelMate Pro for a few reasons. First is, it links to my phone so I can get a reading from inside our truck as I look for the most level portion of the site if needed. It also gives me the information of how much I need to raise or lower each side or front to back. That helps me know how many blocks I need to stack to level it or how far I need to go on our Anderson Levelers. The combination of the LevelMate Pro with the Levelers makes it very quick. After I have it leveled side to side, I then level it front to back after I unhook from the truck. I can see the LevelMate working for so many setups like Class B or camper vans or even rigs like a Class A or a 5th wheel with auto level to help you find the most level portion of the site so you are not lifting wheels off the ground. We have a video on how to setup the LevelMate Pro for the first time and calibrate it. We do have to occasionally recalibrate it if the unit gets bumped or unscrewed from the wall. It is extremely accurate so any changes to how it is mounted to the wall will require recalibration. It is recommended not to use velcro to mount to the wall but to use screws instead to give it a solid place to be mounted in the RV. The newer version now has an on off switch to save on battery. It does do a good job of going to sleep when you aren’t using it so if you leave it on all the time and let the motion of driving turn it on also works as well if the mounting position isn’t as convenient to use the switch all the time. This little device definitely earned it’s spot on our list of upgrades we would do again if we get a new RV.
